Today, I want to tell you what my defined target market is.

Generally, the people that I work with are entrepreneurial women between the ages of 45 and 60. These women are already successful in what they do, but they just want more and they want to be around like minded people who think that same way. They are ambitious. They want to provide their children a really great role model of somebody who lived their life to the fullest so when you are thinking about your target market, many times it is somebody just like you.

For example, when I was younger a lot of times my focus was on helping young, single moms because that’s another soft spot I have for people. If somebody has been a single mom, whether it’s divorce or always single, whatever – I just seem to have a soft spot for them and I find that there’s a lot of really ambitious women in that league and we all know why and everybody else doesn’t need to know why. And, just give that some thought. If you’re a young mom who wants to stay home with their kids, well maybe your target market is people who want to do the same thing.

If you’re a retired person or a semi-retired person, maybe your target market is just like you – people who want to do more, be more, have more, go more, travel more, and again be around like minded people. So, again that’s what you want to do when you’re working with your target market. Really give it some thought and nine times out of ten it is people who are very similar to yourself.
